What is Bare Minerals Makeup?

[ad#Google Adsense]Bare Minerals makeup is a new type of foundation makeup.  It is made with natural minerals, so it’s better for your skin than traditional makeup. Instead of using a cream base, as in most traditional foundations, Bare Minerals foundation uses a fine powder. The powder doesn’t clog your pores or cause you to break out.

They have a vast variety of colors, and your local makeup store can help you pick out the best color for your skin tone.  The foundation is very light, so it doesn’t look obvious that you are wearing makeup, it gives you a nice, natural look.  It evens your skin tone and gives you a healthy glow.

They also carry a bronzer, which can be used to highlight your features or give you a nice, sun kissed look without the damaging rays of the sun.  Bare Minerals also carries blushes and eye shadows to finish your look.  These products are also mineral based and natural, so they won’t clog your pores or cause you to break out.  It also gives you a soft natural look without going overboard.  Bare Minerals makeup is a good way to look fresh and natural without heavy makeup that makes you look overdone.

They also carry kits of colors that help you decide what look you want and how to achieve it.  This is helpful when you want a variety of looks, but aren’t sure which colors are needed.  Bare Minerals also offer a DVD in their starter pack that will help you learn the basics of their products.

How do I Use Bare Minerals Makeup?

[ad#Google Adsense]The first step in using bare minerals makeup is to choose a shade closest to your skin color.  Then you want to shake the container upside down so you have some minerals to apply to your makeup brush.  Once you open the container, take your makeup brush and swirl it around the container lid to trap the minerals on your brush for application to your face.

Tap the brush on your lid to shake off excess minerals (a little goes a long way with bare minerals).  I like to begin application right below my cheek bone, next to my ear.  Just lightly touch brush to your face and apply in a circular motion.  Continue this process over entire face.  I have found the more I swirl on my face (without adding more minerals to the brush) the more even the tone and I achieve a beautiful porcelain surface to work with.

You now have a gorgeous blank canvas to work with.  The bisque is great for covering any obvious flaws.  Just swirl, tap and brush over blemishes to cover.  Cheek color can be applied the same as your base color.  Once you have achieved the look you want, don’t forget to apply the mineral veil.  Use the same way as all other minerals – swirl, tap and apply in circular motion over your face.  It provides the perfect finish to your look.  Bare minerals are easy to use – swirl, tap and apply in circular motion.  Always apply with a light touch.  Enjoy your beauty.

How Do I Make My Very Own Mineral Makeup?

[ad#Google Adsense]Making your own mineral makeup has many distinct advantages.  First off the ingredients are designed to work with your skin instead of causing skin problems like regular makeup does.  Mineral makeup has become the latest addition to an emerging beauty culture dedicated to not only better living but living more beautifully.

Cosmetics colors are sometimes not exactly as you actually see them in the pictures, because of your browser and computer monitor. We always recommend that you order a sample of the foundation or powder color to start with.   That way you can see in person whether or not this is going to be a color/shade that will work for you.  Once you have your color and shade both powder alone and powder in a Foundation Cream allow you to control your coverage very easily.   One great tip that I learned is that you should add colored mica a little at a time until a soft shade appears.  Once you mix your mineral makeup, be sure that you apply the product in natural sunlight.

Simply put the thought of makeup being good for your skin is certainly odd and even foreign to some people, but mineral makeup really is good for your skin.  Minerals are the natural choice to actually calm and soothe red, bruised, itchy, inflamed and flaking skin.  Now with you can put your best face forward because you are armed with beauty secrets from cosmetic industry pros.

Is Bare Minerals a Good Makeup?

From what I know about bare minerals makeup it is a makeup that gives a very natural look. You apply the eyeshadow but it does not stand out it accentuates your eyes rather than just applying a color, bare minerals brings out your own natural color of your eyes. The lipstick shade you pick is near to your own complexion so as to make the lips appear natural. For the foundation you should choose a shade near to your own skin so it makes your skin smooth and glowing but giving a natural appearance covering up any blemishes.

This mineral makeup, bare minerals takes its name from being a product that makes you look good but giving a natural appearance at the same time. All the products in their range work the same making it look as though you have no make up on whilst bringing out your personal features.

If the Bare Minerals product does not make you look natural then you can get a refund. There are plenty of colors to choose from from eye shadows to foundations, lipsticks and cheek colors to bring out the bone structure. Giving a look so natural people will say are you wearing any make up, because this is what the bare mineral collection claim to do look natural.
